People familiar with the matter: Anthropic CEO has rejected a merger proposed by OpenAI’s board of directors
On November 21, two sources reported to Reuters that Dario Amodei, CEO of Anthropic, has rejected the proposal from OpenAI's board of directors regarding his appointment as CEO and the merger of the two companies. Earlier today, OpenAI was in talks with Anthropic regarding the merger.
