Argus Labs founder: Dark Forest reboot has nothing to do with the original Dark Forest

Argus Labs founder Scott Sunarto said that Dark Forest (X platform ID @PlayDarkForest) launched by them is an independent reboot project, unrelated to the Dark Forest (X platform ID @darkforest_eth) of the 0xPARC team.

Argus's Dark Forest will continue to be open source.

Previously, Scott Sunarto contributed about 12 weeks of time to the full-chain game Dark Forest of 0xPARC in 2020. This reboot project has nothing to do with 0xPARC. Previously, Argus Labs completed a $10 million seed round of financing, led by Haun Ventures, with participation from Robot Ventures, Anagram, Dispersion Capital, Web3 development company Alchemy, and Balaji Srinivasan, former CTO of Coinbase.
