Vote to upgrade Stellar's main network to Protocol 20 postponed to 20 February
In response to feedback from the ecosystem about non-critical bugs, Stellar Network Validators have postponed the vote to upgrade the Stellar main network to Protocol 20, Stellar said on Platform X. With the postponement of the vote, the focus shifted to preparing for a new vote, starting with the deployment of a new version of Stellar Core on 2 February. The specific timeline is: 2 February: the Core 20.2 release candidate; 6 February: the Core 20.2 stable release and test network reset and upgrade; and 20 February: the Target Protocol 20 upgrade ballot and phase 0. Stellar said the schedule is subject to change, but the overall plan for a phased rollout will remain the same.
