Bitcoin Price Falls Back Below $43,000 as Market Uncertainty Spreads
Bitcoin's price fell back below $43,000 as a number of factors fuelled bearish sentiment in the market on Monday. According to The Block's price page, Bitcoin has fallen more than 0.5 per cent in the last 24 hours to $42,676 per coin. This price action led to the liquidation of more than $75 million in long cryptocurrency positions, with liquidated leveraged bitcoin positions surging to nearly $30 million over the past 24 hours, of which more than $18 million were long, according to Coinglass data.
