BlackRock CIO: The company's investment portfolio may increase its exposure to Bitcoin in the coming years
Rick Rieder, Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of Global Fixed Income at BlackRock, stated that the company currently has a very small exposure to Bitcoin, but this may change as public attitudes shift. He mentioned that the company's investment portfolio could potentially have more exposure to Bitcoin in the coming years.
He said: "Time will tell whether it becomes an important part of asset allocation frameworks. I believe that over time, people will become more accepting of it. As more and more people view Bitcoin as an asset, we believe its upside potential is real, which has recently been recognized."
