USPTO report: Although piracy and infringement are common in the NFT market, there is no need to change the law
On March 13th, according to a report from Cointelegraph, the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) released a report stating that NFT technology cannot prevent unauthorized copying and claiming that "trademark infringement and abuse are widespread in the NFT market." Although piracy and intellectual property infringement are common in the NFT market, there is currently no need to change US intellectual property (IP) laws.
