SEC Delays Decision on Hashdex and Ark 21Shares Ethereum ETF
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has delayed its decision on the Hashdex Nasdaq Ethereum ETF and ARK 21Shares Ethereum ETF, asking for public comments on the application. The SEC stated that it will extend the decision time to allow sufficient time to consider proposed rule changes and related issues. Nasdaq Stock Exchange has submitted an application to the SEC to list Hashdex Nasdaq Ethereum ETF on its platform. According to a notice submitted on Tuesday, new deadlines for decisions on Hashdex and ARK 21Shares Ethereum spot ETFs are May 30, 2024, and May 24, 2024 respectively.
