TRM Labs: Illicit funds in the crypto ecosystem decreased by 9% last year
TRM Labs' new report found that illegal funds in the cryptocurrency ecosystem decreased by 9% from 2022 to 2023. However, criminal activity conducted through cryptocurrency has increased in some areas, such as the sales of illegal drugs on darknet markets increasing from $1.3 billion in 2022 to $1.6 billion.
