Tether added another 8,888 Bitcoins in the early hours of this morning, and its total holdings exceeded 75,000.
According to on-chain data, the address marked as Tether added 8,888 Bitcoin, worth about $630 million, at 1:21 AM Beijing time today. The total holding is now 75,354.08 Bitcoin.Previously, Tether purchased 8,888 Bitcoin in the last quarter, valued at $380 million at the time. Tether began buying Bitcoin in September 2022, with an initial purchase of 33,980 BTC. Since then, the company has continued to acquire Bitcoin every quarter.
