London mayoral candidate plans to offer every Londoner £100 worth of LONDON tokens
London mayoral candidate Brian Rose revealed today that he hopes to provide everyone in London with a new cryptocurrency token worth £100. The token, which will be named LONDON, will create a £1 billion liquidity pool through a one-time tax on the profits of London-based financial institutions. Rose's campaign said the tokens would be open for use across London's transport network and could be used to pay municipal bills, parking fees and other charges.
