Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino posted on social media that the issuance of USDT has reached 107.3 billion, and USDT has become the most commonly used digital dollar in many emerging markets. Hundreds of millions of people living in countries where local currency is rapidly depreciating use it as a checking account and savings account. A large part of this group does not have a bank account, which is the use case for USDT in the real world.
