Tether issued $500 million in USDT yesterday and redeemed $181 million in USDT
According to the latest data from ChainArgos, Tether (USDT) conducted a large-scale issuance and redemption activity on April 15th. A total of $500 million USDT was issued that day, while $181 million USDT was redeemed.
$170 million USDT was transferred to Bitfinex address 1 and $70 million USDT was transferred to an address starting with 0x1db (possibly Cumberland DRW).
About $190 million USDT was transferred to Kraken across multiple transactions and addresses.
Redemptions: $170 million USDT was redeemed from Bitfinex address, and $1 million USDT was redeemed from Binance address 15.
