Ore creator proposes Solana Foundation to provide testnet participation incentives
Mars Finance News, Hardhat Chad, the anonymous founder of the Solana on-chain mining project Ore, suggested that if the Solana Foundation intends to incentivize testnet activities, it can provide rewards. Chad posted on the X platform that if Solana wants to encourage users to participate in testnet activities, such as testing new features or protocols, then the Solana Foundation should provide incentives in the form of SOL. This can incentivize users to actively participate in testing, improve the performance of the platform, and identify potential issues before deploying to the mainnet. The response from the community was mixed. Chad clarified that he was not seeking funding from the foundation. His goal for Ore is to build a currency, not develop testnet tools.
