Bitcoin completes fourth halving, block reward drops to 3.125 BTC
According to Mars Finance news, on-chain data shows that BTC completed the fourth block reward halving at block height 840,000 at 8:10 on April 20, and the block reward has dropped from 6.25 BTC to 3.125 BTC.
Previously, the Bitcoin network has experienced three halvings in 2012, 2016 and 2020.
