Worldcoin will sell 500,000 to 1.5 million WLD per week over the next 6 months
On April 24th, Worldcoin announced in a blog post that its subsidiary, WorldAssets, responsible for token issuance, will sell up to 1.5 million WLD tokens worth about $8.2 million weekly through a series of private placements to select overseas trading firms. Worldcoin stated, "WorldAssets expects to sell an average of 500,000 to 1.5 million WLD per week. Therefore, the circulating supply of WLD will increase accordingly." According to CoinGecko data, the weekly addition of up to 1.5 million WLD tokens for six months will add 36 million new tokens to the market, currently worth about $197 million.
