MakerDAO to launch new tokens NewStable and NewGovToken
MakerDAO stated on Platform X that it will be launching two new tokens, NewStable (NST) and NewGovToken (NGT).MKR holders will be able to upgrade their tokens to NewGovToken, the new governance token within the ecosystem. The total supply of NewGovToken has been strategically realigned compared to MKR. During the upgrade process, each MKR will be converted into 24,000 NewGovTokens. designed to facilitate broader governance participation.
