Kenya appoints mining firm Marathon Digital as consultant to review country’s cryptocurrency regime
Kenyan President William Ruto recently revealed that the government has appointed Bitcoin mining company Marathon Digital as a consultant to review its cryptocurrency system. According to reports, the US-based Bitcoin miner will discuss the issue of electricity consumption for cryptocurrency mining with the Kenyan Ministry of Energy.
