Vitalik: Plasma can prevent any asset from being withdrawn twice in a way that has consistent rules

Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin stated on platform X that the purpose of Plasma is not to prevent invalid/unavailable state transitions, but to allow users with valuable assets to exit using the previous (valid and available) state when such a situation occurs, in a way that has consistent rules to prevent any double exits of assets.
