Worldcoin responded to the "Hong Kong Privacy Commissioner's Office ruling that Worldcoin violated privacy regulations" by stating that they did not attempt to learn, share, or profit from personal identities or information, but only sought to verify that they were human and unique. This is the core premise behind World ID, a secure digital passport that allows individuals to prove they are human online.
