Farallon Capital discloses $85.2 million investment in GBTC
Golden Finance reported that San Francisco hedge fund management company Farallon Capital disclosed an investment of US$85.2 million in Grayscale’s GBTC. According to Fintel data, the company is one of the 10 companies with the largest GBTC holdings. Independent wealth center Cetera Investment Advisers disclosed on May 24 that it invested US$22.6 million in GBTC, becoming one of the 25 companies holding the largest GBTC positions. On May 22, Big Sur Wealth Management disclosed that it had invested US$3.3 million in BlackRock's IBIT, becoming one of the 80 companies with the largest investment in IBIT. None of the companies disclosed their holdings in other spot Bitcoin ETFs. However, Cetera Investment Advisers disclosed that its position in the Pro Shares Bitcoin Strategy ETF (BITO) increased by 83% from the previous quarter.
