Analyst: Ethereum options open interest is dominated by call options
Golden Finance reported that analysts said that open interest in Ethereum options is dominated by call options, reflecting traders’ expectations for ETF trading. Implied volatility in Ethereum call options has been higher recently than on Bitcoin, indicating that derivatives market participants expect Ethereum prices to rise. QCP Capital analysts added: “Ethereum front-end trading volume may still be 15-20 times higher than Bitcoin, and the tilt of Ethereum may still favor call options. But a potential breakthrough in Ethereum price will have to wait until S- 1 after approval becomes clearer.
