GPT-5 is expected to be launched in late 2025 or early 2026

Odaily News Mira Murati, chief technology officer of OpenAI, recently revealed that the company is developing a new generation of artificial intelligence model GPT-5, which is expected to be launched at the end of 2025 or early 2026. The new model will have significant improvements in complexity and capabilities. It is reported that GPT-5 is internally codenamed Gobi and Arrakis. It is a multimodal model with 52 trillion parameters. The previous generation GPT-4 has about 2 trillion parameters.
