CoinStats CEO: The companys AWS infrastructure was hacked, and less than 1% of users were affected

Odaily News Narek Gevorgyan, CEO of
cryptocurrency portfolio management company CoinStats, said on the X platform that the companys AWS infrastructure was hacked, and evidence showed that the attack was carried out by an employee downloading malware. The attack mainly affected a small number of users using CoinStats Wallet, less than 1% of the total users. Gevorgyan sympathized with the victims and promised to provide support, and is currently waiting for the details of the law enforcement department to be completed and a detailed report will be released. It was reported last week that CoinStats was attacked and 1,590 crypto wallets were affected, and the application has been temporarily shut down.
