Matrixport: Cryptocurrency is the best performing asset class so far this year
According to data released by Matrixport Technologies, cryptocurrencies have outperformed other major asset classes so far this year. Ethereum and Bitcoin have risen by 48.3% and 46.0% respectively, leading the market. The Nasdaq index and the SP 500 index rose by 20.0% and 15.1%, while oil and gold increased by 14.2% and 12.7%. The dollar rose by 4.5%, while bonds fell by 6.6%.
