Polygon CISO: Uses Crowdstrike but not affected by this security incident
July 19, 2012 - Polygon Chief Information Security Officer Mudit Gupta said that the latest version of the Crowdstrike falcon EDR is causing endless crashes and reboots on Windows devices because of a bug in the latest version of Crowdstrike. Currently, much of the world's IT infrastructure is down, including emergency services, airports and stock exchanges.Polygon Labs also uses Crowdstrike, but we are not affected because we don't roll out non-critical updates to our employees until we test them. In any case, the Polygon network is decentralized. Even if Polygon Labs is impacted by this type of IT incident, the Polygon Network will not be impacted in any way.
