USDC trading volume soars 48% in July, driven by MiCA and market growth
According to a 31 July report from CCData, trading volume on centralised exchange USD Coin (USDC) pairs reached $135 billion as of 25 July, with market capitalisation rising 5.4% to $33.6 billion. With the implementation of the European Union's Market for Crypto Assets (MiCA) regulatory framework, Circle became the first stablecoin issuer in the region to receive regulatory approval on 1 July.
