During his tenure as Governor of Minnesota, Harris's running mate Walz had issued strict cryptocurrency regulatory legislation in the state
PANews reported on August 6th, according to The Block, the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) stated that US Vice President Harris's running mate Tim Walz has not publicly discussed cryptocurrency. However, during his tenure as governor, Minnesota enacted legislation to strengthen the regulation of cryptocurrency self-service terminals. In addition, according to Cointelegraph reports, Tim Walz's stance on cryptocurrencies closely aligns with that of Democratic Senator Warren advocating for stricter regulation.
Previously reported by Fortune Magazine, Walz has never publicly discussed cryptocurrencies and his term in the House predates major industry bills making it difficult to determine his potential position on digital assets.
