Cronos zkEVM mainnet is launched, using zkCRO as the gas token

Golden Finance reports that Cronos Labs has announced the official launch of the Cronos zkEVM mainnet. Cronos zkEVM is a Layer-2 blockchain built on top of Ethereum, powered by ZKsync technology. Its testnet was launched in December 2023 and has processed millions of transactions with over 3 million unique addresses. Cronos zkEVM uses zkCRO (the liquidity staked version of CRO) as its gas token.
