According to Whale Alert, Tether Treasury minted 1 billion USDT on Ethereum.
Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino responded that the 1 billion USDT was a supplement to Ethereum's inventory. This was an authorized but unissued transaction, which means that this additional issuance will be used for the next issuance request and cross-chain exchange inventory.
