Investors Claim Mpeppe Project Allegedly Orchestrated Sham Pre-Sale
Decentralized finance project Mpeppe (also known as MPEPPÉ or MPEPE) has been accused of orchestrating a fake pre-sale in which several investors allegedly paid but did not receive tokens. The project claimed that the funds would be used for the construction of a casino, the collection of player card non-homogenized tokens (NFTs), and a decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol associated with the tokens. Blockchain data shows that the entire supply of the token is held in its deployer account and that no tokens have been made available to investors.
