Trump Leads Harris by One Point in New York Times-Siena College National Poll

A new national poll conducted by The New York Times and Siena College shows Republican nominee Donald Trump with a one-point lead in support over Vice President Harris.The survey of 1,695 registered voters conducted Sept. 3-6 puts Trump's favorability rating at 48 percent to Harris's 47 percent, within a margin of error of 3 percentage points. The poll showed 56 percent of registered voters believe Trump would do a better job handling the economy, while 51 percent believe the current economy is in poor shape. The survey found 28 percent of potential voters said they felt the need to learn more about Harris. Democrats have a slight edge in enthusiasm for voting, with 91 percent of respondents saying they are enthusiastic about voting, compared to 85 percent of Republicans.
