Filecoin Introduces Three L2 Projects: Basin, Akave and Storacha Network
On October 11, the official Filecoin account introduced three L2 projects on Filecoin.
The first data L2 Basin provides a hot and cold data layer, combining a hot caching layer and a cold storage component to process weather data from decentralized sites and generate synthetic data for smart contracts.
Akave is the first L2 storage chain to support on-chain data lakes, reducing egress costs by placing data near the compute stack for faster local access.
Storacha Network aims to enhance AI and unstructured data management by processing large datasets through sliced files to support a range of AI use cases.
