Bitwise Head of Strategy: if Trump is elected it may push bitcoin to $92,000
On October 24, Jeff Park, head of alpha strategy at crypto asset management firm Bitwise, predicted that the price of bitcoin could rise to $92,000 if Donald Trump wins the U.S. presidential election in November. In a recent post on X, he said that based on charting the price of bitcoin against Trump's odds of winning on Polymarket and applying some “merger-arbitrage-style probability math,” the results show that bitcoin is likely to soar after Trump wins the election. Park's optimistic forecast for the price of Bitcoin is in line with a growing number of pundits and analysts who expect Trump's victory to drive the price significantly higher. Erik Finman, an early investor in bitcoin, said he believes a Trump victory could send the price of bitcoin up to $100,000, “His policies will ignite the crypto market and drive significant growth across the board.
