NBA Topshot NFT sales hit six-month high
With the start of the NBA 2024 season, NBA Topshot NFT sales have hit a six-month high. As of the week of 27 October, weekly NFT sales have reached 43,600, a 94% increase from the previous week. The data shows that NBA Topshot activity was relatively stable in early 2024, with weekly sales averaging approximately 43,000 NFTs in the months leading up to the playoffs; however, activity dropped off dramatically during and after the playoffs. During this period, sales averaged just 26,000 NFTs per week, reflecting a decline in user interest during the playoffs and offseason, while the start of the new season rekindled interest in NBA Topshot NFTs.
