Capital Economics stated that the results of the U.S. presidential election are still difficult to predict, but Donald Trump seems to be gradually leading in some key swing states. Close to 11:30 PM Eastern Time, The New York Times believed that Trump had a 91% chance of winning, predicting he would win 300 electoral votes, far more than the threshold of 270 for election. Moreover, on Polymarket, Trump's probability of winning was 94%. The agency also pointed out that the market has already reacted with the yield on US ten-year bonds rising from 4.30% a day earlier to 4.42%. The dollar strengthened, especially against the Mexican peso and stock futures rose by 1.2%.
