Hut 8 plans to purchase more than 30,000 Antminers S21+ mining machines, and its own mining computing power will increase by 66% in Q1 2025

Bitcoin mining company Hut 8 predicts that its self-mining computing power will increase by 66% (from 5.6 EH/s to 9.3 EH/s) in the first quarter of 2025 after agreeing to purchase 31,145 Bitmain Antminer S21+ mining machines. These machines are planned to be delivered in early 2025. Hut 8 announced in September that it had reached a purchase agreement with Bitmain, which will increase the company's computing power by approximately 15 EH/s. If this option is chosen, the company's computing power may further increase, thereby advancing the process of reaching 24 EH/s as early as the second quarter of 2025.
