According to Whale Alert monitoring, Tether Treasury issued an additional 1 billion USDT on the Ether chain, an authorized but unissued transaction according to Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino, meaning the amount will be used as inventory for the next issuance request and on-chain exchange.
