The probability that the Fed will leave current rates unchanged by December is 33.5 per cent, with a cumulative probability of a 25 basis point cut of 66.5 per cent. The probability of keeping current rates unchanged by January next year is 26.3%, the probability of a cumulative 25 basis point cut is 59.5%, and the probability of a cumulative 50 basis point cut is 14.2%.
