OpenAI responds to Musk's lawsuit: The application is repeated and still unfounded
recently Musk requested a US court to block OpenAI, an artificial intelligence research center, from illegally transforming into a for-profit enterprise. A spokesperson for OpenAI said that Musk's application is repetitive and still baseless.
In February of this year, Musk filed a lawsuit claiming that there was an agreement between him and two co-founders of OpenAI when he provided funding and other support for the establishment of OpenAI, that OpenAI should be a non-profit organization. However, OpenAI violated its founding goals and mission and pursued profits instead. In June, Musk withdrew the lawsuit, but re-filed it in August. In November of this year, Musk's lawsuit against OpenAI escalated again, accusing OpenAI of attempting to monopolize the generative artificial intelligence market.
