Yuga Labs co-founder clarifies: Respects the work done by Base, just dissatisfied with the podcast host criticizing Ethereum NFTs
On December 8th, Yuga Labs co-founder Garga.eth (Greg Solano) previously posted on X that they are launching a token on Solana, and their co-founders toly and raj (Solana co-founders) will welcome you with open arms.
This statement seems to have provoked the dissatisfaction of Jesse Pollak, the person in charge of Base Protocol. He stated that comparisons between Solana and L1 should stop, as unity within the Ethereum ecosystem would make it stronger. Garga.eth clarified: "Don't misunderstand me, I love Ethereum. Over the years I've helped many chain users enter the Ethereum ecosystem. ApeChain is also based on Ethereum; I greatly respect what Base has done. My previous comments were expressing dissatisfaction towards some NFT projects and Meme coin podcast hosts."
