XRP ETF wave is expected to heat up, breaking through $3 or triggering 270 million short liquidation

On December 18th, Bloomberg analysts Eric Balchunas and James Seyffart predicted that the US market will usher in a "cryptocurrency ETF wave" in 2025, with Solana and XRP expected to gradually debut. Meanwhile, the XRP market has performed strongly. On December 17th, data showed that the XRP/KRW trading pair on the South Korean Upbit trading platform ranked first in the Korean Won market with a proportion of 17.87%, with an overall trading volume of $7.642 billion, an increase of 37.3% from the previous day.
In addition, Coinglass data shows that if the price of XRP breaks through $3, the short positioning of XRP worth about $272.30 million will face liquidation pressure, which may trigger a short squeeze in the market. The price trend and market attention of XRP are constantly increasing.
