Ripple's Chief Legal Officer: The SEC's appeal is likely to be abandoned by the new government, Ripple will formally respond at the appropriate time
In response to the "US SEC has submitted an appeal opening statement against Ripple", Ripple's Chief Legal Officer Stuart Alderoty posted on X stating: "As expected, the SEC's appeal is just a reiteration of arguments that have already failed - likely to be abandoned by the next administration. We will formally respond at the appropriate time.
For now, please know: The SEC's lawsuit is just noise. A new era of innovation-friendly regulation is coming, and Ripple is thriving."
