On-chain data shows that Ionic on Mode suffered an attack with losses reaching $8.6 million. On-chain detective ZachXBT commented on this matter: Ionic's predecessor was the Midas protocol, which had been attacked twice in 2023, yet when the Ionic project went live, it used Midas' old audit report from 2022.
