The executive orders signed by Trump within two and a half weeks of taking office have surpassed the record set by previous presidents in their first 100 days
ABC Television in the United States revealed that Trump signed 54 executive orders within two and a half weeks of taking office, surpassing any president since Truman in the number of orders signed within their first 100 days. For example, former U.S. President Biden signed 42 orders during his first 100 days as president. ABC also reported that Trump set another record for cancelling the most executive orders from previous administrations since Roosevelt's presidency. As of this report, Trump has cancelled 91 executive orders from his predecessor, President Biden.
