Recently, Pi released two important updates through social media, aimed at helping Pioneers solve problems in KYC applications and correcting account info. The specific updates are as follows:

1. Solution to name mismatch problem

For Pioneers who were rejected because their Pi account name did not match their KYC name, the Pi Network has launched a new feature that gives these users the opportunity to resubmit their application or change their account name.

Eligible users will be able to:

Apply to resubmit KYC and correct the name issue.

Change the Pi account name to match the KYC name, provided that part of the Mobile Balance is waived.

The purpose of this is to help real Pioneers pass KYC review smoothly and prevent violations such as account transfer. Only eligible Pioneers will see relevant notifications.

2. Fix small errors in your phone number

For users whose number is inaccurate due to input errors (such as incorrect mobile phone numbers or country codes) and have not yet verified the number, they can now change up to two digits.

This update is particularly important for Pioneers whose KYC status is provisional, as they may need to correct their phone number to complete account verification or password reset.

This update to Pi Network provides Pioneers with more opportunities to resolve KYC issues while ensuring accurate account info. Eligible users can view relevant options in the Pi KYC app or Pi Miner app and make corrections based on their personal situation.
