Report: 95% of Latin American Cryptocurrency Users Plan to Increase Holdings by 2025
A survey conducted by the research department of a cryptocurrency exchange on over 10,000 investors in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Mexico shows that the vast majority of Latin American cryptocurrency users - 95% plan to increase their holdings by 2025. The survey results show that 40.1% of respondents expect to buy more cryptocurrencies within the next three months, 15.3% expect to buy within the next six months, and 39.7% expect to buy within twelve months. Only 4.9% do not have plans to continue investing this year. The report cites a study from payment company Triple-A stating that by 2024, Latin America's adoption rate for cryptocurrencies will lead globally with an increase of 116%. This region currently has about fifty-five million cryptocurrency users which is nearly ten percent of total global crypto users.
