Data: CMC Altcoin Season Index drops to 13, hitting a new low for the year
According to Coinmarketcap data, the Altcoin Season Index is now reported at 13, marking the lowest annual level since September 3, 2024, a significant drop from last month's score of 43.
The Altcoin Index has been declining since it hit an annual high of 87 on December 4, 2024. This index shows that in the past 90 days, only 13 out of the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market value have outperformed Bitcoin.
