Fed Goolsbee says the longer the Fed waits, could mean rate cuts need to be delayed until later. Waiting could be costly. The economic slowdown will be the reason for a rate cut, but if inflation exceeds tariff levels or exceeds expectations, the Fed will have to adjust its outlook expectations.
