Trump: We will receive feedback from Russia on the ceasefire proposal between Russia and Ukraine this week
US President Trump stated on April 17th local time that he will "listen to the Russian side's views" on the US proposal for a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine "this week." Trump said the US will "soon" receive a message from Russia, and the US hopes the conflict between Russia and Ukraine will stop. It is reported that US Secretary of State Pompeo and Middle East envoy Volker held a meeting with Ukrainian officials in Paris on that day.
