Belarus plans to issue CBDC in late 2026
according to Daily Hodl, Roman Golovchenko, Chairman of the Board of the Central Bank of Belarus, announced in a statement that they plan to launch a CBDC next year. The digital form of the Belarusian ruble will be fully circulated in the second half of 2026, and will support the free use of CBDC by businesses. The target for government agencies and individuals is 2027.
